‘Castle Doctrine’ bill on its way to Manchin

Wyoming Senate approves bill to ban gun confiscation

A bill that would specify that government officials in Wyoming can`t confiscate guns from law-abiding citizens during disasters or other emergencies passed for the second time in the state senate on Thursday. Sen. Kit Jennings, R-Casper, carried the bill. He said it`s in response to the police confiscation of guns from citizens of New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina.

Concealed carry garners student support nationwide

In light of the shootings at Virginia Tech and Northern Illinois University (NIU), students across the nation have assembled in support of policies for concealed carry of guns on college campuses. The group known as Students for Concealed Carry on Campus (SCCC) has garnered more than 18,000 members, becoming the largest non-profit student organization advocating the right to carry concealed guns for safety and security reasons.
